Every child and young person has the right to feel safe.
If you want to speak to someone about how safe you feel or are worried about another young person, there are organisations that can help.
Hartlepool and Stockton-on-Tees Safeguarding Children Partnership
In Stockton we have the Hartlepool and Stockton-on Tees Safeguarding Children Partnership who work to protect children and young people.
They bring together lots of people who work together to make sure you are safe including:
- Police
- Health Services
- Schools
Who to contact
You can contact the Children's Hub on 01429 284284 or 01642 130080 Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.
Outside of office hours you can contact the Emergency Duty Team on 01642 524552.
In an emergency, contact the Police on 101 or 999.
Childline
Childline have lots of advice and support for children and young people about feeling safe.
Childline is free, confidential and available any time, day or night.
