Yarm High Street is a popular location, with its market town character and reputation for high quality bars, restaurants and specialist retailers.

It is important that support and interventions are targeted in a way that builds on these strengths and adds to the visitor experience and appeal of the High Street, as well as improve access and connections to surrounding areas.

Levelling Up Fund

Yarm and Eaglescliffe was awarded £20million of funding from round one of the Government's Levelling Up Fund as part of the Stockton South constituency. The funding is to be used for major proposals across Yarm High Street, Preston Park Museum and Grounds and cycle networks.
