Stockton Fireworks 2019: Everything you need to know
One of the most anticipated occasions in the Borough's events calendar is here as Stockton's fireworks spectacular returns on Sunday, November 3.
The display is hugely popular, attracting many thousands of residents from across Stockton-on-Tees and visitors from further afield.
We've got a packed programme ready for you to enjoy at this year's free, family-friendly event.
Here's everything you need to know.
What is this year's theme?
It's been a stunning year of sport including England's victory in the ICC Cricket World Cup, the women's team reaching the semi-finals of the FIFA Women's World Cup and the ongoing Rugby World Cup.
Closer to home, we've enjoyed another thrilling edition of the Stockton Duathlon and Cycling festivals and welcomed the Great North CityGames to Stockton High Street.
So this year's fireworks display will be set to a sporting music theme, featuring classic tunes like Formula One anthem 'The Chain' by Fleetwood Mac and Middlesbrough FC's infamous run-out song 'Pigbag' by Perfecto Allstarz.
Where is it and what time does it start?
The fun begins at 5pm on Stockton's Riverside with the BBC Tees Radio Roadshow.
The fireworks will start at 6.30pm.

Hosted by household favourites Neil Green and Amy Oakden from BBC Tees Breakfast, the stage will bring you live performances from singer Raven Skye Masters, pop duo Khalysis and dance act Spiltmilk - topped off by headliner Kevin Davy White from The X Factor.
What other entertainment is there?
The popular fairground rides and refreshment stalls have been relocated this year. You'll find them on Stockton High Street from 4.30pm to 9.45pm.
Do I need tickets?
No! The display is completely free to enjoy.
What do councillors think about the display?
Councillor Jim Beall, Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council's Cabinet Member for Health, Leisure and Culture, said: "Our display always attracts many thousands of residents and, with a sporting music theme and some spectacular fireworks set against the stunning backdrop of the Riverside, I'm sure this year will be one of the best yet.
"While maintaining a family-friendly focus, organised displays like ours are also a much a safer option than people hosting their own - a view shared by colleagues in the NHS and Cleveland Fire Brigade.
"We're delighted to welcome so many people to Stockton to enjoy one of the biggest and best free displays in the country. I hope everyone has a brilliant time."
Why aren't the fireworks happening on November 5?
The fireworks have been held on a weekend for the last few years after feedback from residents.
Holding the display in the early evening on a weekend lessens the impact on the town's businesses and residents and makes it easier for those with young children to enjoy the fireworks.
What's the best way to get there?
Due to the event's popularity, we're strongly encouraging people to walk or travel on public transport.
We've teamed up with Arriva Bus to provide a dedicated park and ride service this year. You can travel for just £1 per person on a return ticket to the heart of the event.
Buses arrive and depart up to every three minutes between 5pm and 8.30pm from either ASDA on Portrack Lane, TS18 2PB or Harveys, Portrack Lane, TS18 2HP.
Please be aware there will be road and car park restrictions around the town so we ask any motorists to remain patient when arriving and leaving the event.
The Connect Tees Valley website can help you plan the best public transport route to get you there and back.
