Weekly menu 1

We serve a selection of traditional fayre, cold options, sides and desserts.

This school menu is for the weeks commencing:

  • 4 March 2024

Fresh juice, milk and water and served daily. 

Traditional fayre

Monday

  • breaded chicken breast or Quorn dippers (vegetarian), oven roasted potatoes, sweetcorn and garden peas

  • corned beef pie, oven roasted potatoes, sweetcorn and garden Peas

Tuesday 

  • mince and dumplings, baby boiled potatoes, diced carrots and cauliflower

  • fish star, baby boiled potatoes, diced carrots and cauliflower

Wednesday

  • leek and mushroom pasta bake (vegetarian), homemade garlic bread, broccoli and mixed vegetables

  • homemade pizza (vegetarian), baked potato wedges and baked beans

Thursday

  • roast gammon served with pineapple, baked jacket potatoes, tossed salad and coleslaw

  • mini cheese and onion slice (vegetarian), baked jacket potatoes and spaghetti hoops

Friday

  • Harry Ramsden fish fillet, oven baked chips, garden peas and baked beans

  • jacket potato filled with tuna, cheese (vegetarian) or baked beans (vegetarian)

 

Cold selection

The following items are available every day: 

  • variety of sandwiches: cheese, tuna, and egg
  • homemade quiche
  • salad bar

 

Desserts

Homemade biscuits and yoghurt are available everyday as well as items from the cold bar.

Monday

  • chocolate sponge with custard sauce
  • fresh fruit

Tuesday

  • apple crumble with custard sauce
  • fresh fruit

Wednesday

  • ginger sponge with custard sauce
  • fresh fruit

Thursday 

  • chocolate crunch with custard sauce
  • fresh fruit

Friday

  • vanilla sponge with custard
  • fresh fruit
