Some Academies and Voluntary-Aided Schools may vary their holidays slightly. If your child attends one of these schools, check with them directly.
Professional development days
Schools can use up to 5 days during the school year for professional development. Your child will not attend school on these days. Your child's school will contact you directly with details of when these days will be.
Absence during term time
Schools will only allow absences during term time in exceptional circumstances.
