Our aim is to ensure that resources are directed in accordance with agreed policy and according to priorities. That there is sound and inclusive decision-making, with clear accountability to achieve the desired outcomes for service users and communities.
As a Local Authority we have a responsibility for long-term sustainability, economic, environmental and the wellbeing of our residents and wider communities.
Conduct of Councillors
A code of conduct helps to makes sure that our councillors do the right things in a timely, inclusive, open, honest and accountable manner.
Petitions scheme
If you're concerned about something the Council is responsible for, or that the Council can influence, you can submit a petition to the Council.
