Festive opening hours
Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council offices will be opening on reduced hours during the festive period. Opening times for all services will return to normal from 2 January 2025.

Library opening hours - Stockton, Billingham, Thornaby Central, Norton, Yarm, Ingleby Barwick Libraries and mobile library services
Our libraries will be open 10am to 1pm on Christmas Eve, closed Christmas Day and Boxing Day. Library opening hours will vary during the Christmas period, please speak to your local library for their opening times.
The mobile library will stop its rounds from Monday 23 December 2024 until Monday 6 January 2025.

Real Christmas tree collections
Christmas trees will be collected on normal collection day, commencing Tuesday 7 January 2025. Alternatively, you can recycle your tree at the Haverton Hill household waste recycling centre in Billingham.
