Citizenship ceremonies
You need to attend a citizenship ceremony if you're 18 or over and have successfully applied to become a British citizen.
All citizenship ceremonies are currently held at Stockton-on-Tees Register Office, Nightingale House, Balaclava Street, Stockton-on-Tees, TS18 2AL.
Before you can attend a citizenship ceremony, you need to contact the Home Office to apply to become a British Citizen.

Once we receive your paperwork from the Home Office, we will contact you by letter to invite you to the next available ceremony.

Group ceremonies
Our ceremonies are designed to welcome you into citizenship of the United Kingdom. They are held in the Nightingale Suite at our Stockton Register Office.
Private ceremonies
We offer private citizenship ceremonies at Stockton Register Office if you would prefer an individual ceremony.
