Time to enrol on new Stockton-on-Tees Learning and Skills courses
Develop your skills, pick up a new hobby, enhance your CV, or improve your health and wellbeing - dozens of courses are available through Stockton Learning and Skills Service to help you achieve all of these and more.
The Council's adult learning service is offering courses for 2023/24 in all manner of topics covering learning for life, learning for work, apprenticeships, routes to employment and learning for pleasure.
They include subjects ranging from maths to computing, cookery to foreign languages, arts and crafts, health care and much more.
Many of the courses are free of charge and learners will be supported throughout the course with help and guidance from the Council's expert tutors.
Councillor Nigel Cooke, Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council's Cabinet Member for Regeneration and Housing, and Chair of the Learning and Skills Service governing body, said: "This year's Learning and Skills courses provide hundreds of opportunities to learn something new or enhance your skills, whatever your goals may be.
"So whether you're just entering the workforce or you're interested in a career change, a fun new hobby, or a vocational qualification, make sure you take a look at the courses on offer. You should have received your prospectus in the post, but you can also view the courses online at your leisure. There are many subjects to choose from and our Learning and Skills team are on hand to help you enrol and support you throughout your learning journey."
