Five star! Here are some of the events still to look forward to in 2023
Stockton International Riverside Festival (SIRF) and Halloween Spooky Walk are amongst the exciting events on the way in the Stockton-on-Tees Borough later this year.
And with Festival of Thrift also coming to Billingham for the first time in September, there's lots for residents to look forward to.
"Our King's Coronation Big Lunch was a fabulous event which drew in thousands of people to Stockton High Street - and there's more to come across the next few months," said Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council's Cabinet Member for Health, Leisure and Culture, Councillor Steve Nelson.
"Of course SIRF remains the jewel in the crown of our events offer and attracts visitors from far and wide, providing our residents with the opportunity to see first-class street performance, dance, music and outdoor arts for free.
"Festival of Thrift is also certain to be a massive pull in Billingham with an entertaining mix of food, music, crafts and demonstrations, but focused on the important issues of climate change and sustainable living.
"And there's a whole range of other events taking place across the Borough throughout the coming months. Why not visit the Visit Tees Valley website to find out more?"
