Tree Planting
Over the last two years we have planted more than 20,000 trees across Stockton-on-Tees and over the coming winter we expect to plan at least another 7,100.
Planting these trees will contribute to the Council's net zero ambitions and will also help add more woodland cover, provide wildlife habitats and increase biodiversity.
This year our tree planting will take place in the following locations:
- Durham Lane Orchard: Monday 11 and Tuesday 12 December 2023
- Romano Park: Week commencing 15 January 2024
- Yarm Road Rec: Week commencing 22 January 2024
- Cassie's Field: Week commencing Monday 12 February 2024
- Black Diamond Way: Thursday 22 February 2024
- Leonard Ropner Field: Tuesday 27 to Friday 30 February 2024
