Police and Crime Commissioner Election candidates confirmed
Four candidates will contest the upcoming election for the Police and Crime Commissioner (PCC) for the Cleveland Police Force area.
The election will take place on Thursday 6 May.
The candidates are:
- Barrie COOPER (Independent)
- Christopher Ian JONES (Liberal Democrats)
- Matthew Stephen STOREY (Labour Party)
- Steve TURNER (Conservative Candidate - More Police, Safer Streets)
Residents who are not on the electoral register who wish to vote in this election must apply to register by Monday 19 April.
Those who are registered to vote and would like to vote by post or postal proxy must apply by 5pm on Tuesday 20 April.
Those who are registered to vote and would like to vote by proxy must apply by 5pm on Tuesday 27 April.
