More than 100 jobs up for grabs at this recruitment fair next week
More than 100 vacancies need to be filled at a recruitment fair being held in Stockton town centre next week.
The event is being hosted by Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council in partnership with Stockton BID (Stockton Business Improvement District).

When and where is the recruitment fair being held?
Just pop along to Stockton-on-Tees Employment and Training Hub at Unit 5, Wellington Square, on Thursday 11 November, between 2pm and 6pm.
Where are these jobs being offered?
The 100-plus vacancies need to be filled across a variety of sectors including leisure, retail, hospitality, education, warehouse and logistics. Many of the positions are permanent.
Who are the employers and what roles can I apply for with them?
Around 12 local employers and recruitment and training companies will be represented at the event, including:
- Hampton by Hilton - vacancies including night manager, night porters, receptionists to food & beverage assistants
- Derwentside College representing NE Autism Society and ROC Group - trainee teaching assistants and childcare support workers
- Arriva - 50 bus driver roles
- ARC - front of house staff
- Three13 - representing Icon Plastics and packaging firm, RPS
- Stockton BID - representing independents in Stockton town centre including such as Slave to the Grind and Top of the Hops - catering/front of house
- Stockton Riverside College - representing opportunities in the logistics/rail sectors
- Stockton Globe
- Jobcentre Plus - Christmas and other vacancies
Do I need to book to attend the jobs fair, and what can I expect when I come along?
No, appointments are not required for the event. You can simply walk in to the Employment and Training Hub any time between 2pm and 6pm to meet potential employers and receive help and advice on the positions on offer and how to apply.
