Candidates confirmed for Stockton-on-Tees by-elections

A total of 23 candidates will contest five vacant seats in five wards in Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council by-elections on Thursday 6 May 2021.

Residents of these wards who wish to vote in their by-election must apply to register by Monday 19 April.

Those who are registered to vote and would like to vote by post or postal proxy must apply by 5pm on Tuesday 20 April.

Those who are registered to vote and would like to vote by proxy must apply by 5pm on Tuesday 27 April.

Registration is simple and only takes a few minutes to complete. You'll need to provide your date of birth and National Insurance number.
