Free activities available for eligible children during half-term
A range of free activities are on offer for eligible children across the Stockton-on-Tees Borough during the half-term holidays.
There are a variety of options to choose from, including football, arts and crafts and dancing.
The sessions, which include a free meal, are being delivered from Sunday, May 29 until Friday, June 3.
It's all thanks to the Holidays Are Fun (HAF) programme, being delivered by Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council in partnership with Catalyst.
The activities are available for children living in wards in the Borough where the number of children on free school meals is highest.
To be eligible, families must be in receipt of benefits-related free school meals, in receipt of Universal Credit or experiencing financial difficulties.
Councillor Lisa Evans, Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council's Cabinet Member for Children and Young People, said: "This is a brilliant opportunity once again for some of the Borough's children to take part in a whole range of different activities.
"There's something for all interests an abilities, with dodgeball, boxing, music and arts and crafts amongst others.
"We know how important it is for children to stay active and healthy, so I'd urge you to book your child's place if you think they could be eligible."
Bookings for HAF are live now.
