Councillor Jim Beall, Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council's Cabinet Member for Health, Leisure and Culture, said: "Easter events are always popular with families across the Borough so there will be plenty of free themed activities in our libraries during the school holidays to keep children entertained.

"Take a look to see what's on offer and remember to book a place for your child to make sure they don't miss out."

Harry Potter Extravaganza!

Tuesday 12 April and Thursday 14 April, 2.30pm to 4pm
Come along to see magical Diagon Alley models, fantastic props, make a magic wand and try out Harry Potter coding wands. Suitable for all ages.

1970s Inspired Sand Art

Tuesday 19 April, 2.30pm to 4.30pm
Create amazing, colourful creations at this sand art session. For ages 6+.

1970s Pet Rocks

Thursday 21 April, 2.30pm to 4pm
Get creative and design a pet rock at this craft session. Suitable for all ages.
