Traded Careers Guidance Services

We offer bespoke careers guidance services to schools, colleges and other organisations across the North East, from Tyneside to North Yorkshire. All our Careers Advisers are qualified to Level 6 or higher in Careers Guidance and are registered careers guidance professionals with the Career Development Institute.

We are Matrix accredited providers of Careers Guidance, since 2010. Our most recent accreditation came in 2022 when the assessor found:

  • numerous examples of staff supporting and enabling other providers to deliver services to students. The service is seen to deliver Information, Advice and Guidance (IAG) that supports the objectives of partners.
  • the linking up of undiscovered talent to opportunities is inspirational.
  • staff leave no stone unturned in supporting young people to overcome challenges and create a journey to a more compelling future.
  • staff are a credit to the service, and young people's experiences matched the service described.
  • there is inspirational leadership for the service.
  • people feel valued for the work they do as well as being empowered and trusted to take decisions.

We meet the needs of your school, college, employer, or Local Authority, we will deliver whatever Careers support you need us to. We will match our Careers Adviser to your Careers "offer". We do not make any profit on any contract, we simply cover our staff's time, so you can be sure you are getting what you pay for.

We take care of all the HR, recruitment and cover needs of the Careers Adviser and you choose how and when you want them to deliver support. Whether that's as simple as one to one Careers Guidance discussions with your Key Stage 4 pupils, or more embedded Careers Education, Information, Advice and Guidance (CEIAG) support such as:

  • support at primary age, building awareness and aspiration
  • one to one discussions in KS3 and KS4 helping young people think about and decide upon their options and GCSEs
  • creating an action plan to give focus to the young person's career journey
  • providing up to date and accurate job information to inform choices
  • exploring the offer from colleges and other learning providers
  • help to create a tailored CV
  • looking for apprenticeship and training opportunities
  • visits to colleges and other learning providers
  • job seeking skills and tips
  • applications
  • exploring HE and help with UCAS
  • support to your Careers Education programme, including group sessions on a range of Careers matters
