Applications to start secondary school in September 2024

If you have not yet applied for a year 7 place for your child to start in September 2024, then you must contact us and we will send you an In-Year application to complete and return to School Admissions.

Applications to start secondary school in September 2025

If your child was born between 1 September 2013 and 31 August 2014, they will start secondary school in September 2025.

Please note the application round for your child to start secondary school in September 2025 has now closed (closing date 31 October 2024). You can still view the Citizen Portal, but you cannot make any changes to your application.

If you have not yet made an application for your child then you can still access the Citizen Portal but please note that new applications submitted after 31 October 2024 will be classed as late applications.

A late application will only be considered after those made on time have been processed. If your application is received after 31 October 2024, it will reduce the chances of your child getting a place at one of your preferred schools.

If you require a 'Late' paper application form, please contact the School Admissions team for a copy and return it as soon as possible.

As part of your application, you can choose up to four preferred schools. We recommend that you choose four different schools to give you the best chance of being offered a place at one of your preferred schools.
