Car parking PCN charges
A penalty charge of £50 or £70 can be issued depending upon the seriousness of the parking violation. This is reduced by 50% if the charge is paid within 14 days. If you do not pay your penalty by the date stated your charge may increase by 50%.
Bus lane enforcement and charges
If you drive, park or stop in bus lanes you may be recorded by CCTV cameras and we will issue Penalty Charge Notices. You will be charged £60, reduced to £30 if paid within 14 days. If you do not appeal or pay within 28 days your fine will be increased to £90.
This helps make our public transport system as reliable and punctual as possible. Our bus lanes provide a clear route for buses, pedal cycles and other authorised vehicles.
