Advice and guidance
All businesses in the Borough have access to free, impartial advice from the Invest Stockton-on-Tees team. If you are worried about mounting pressures affecting your business and you would like to speak to a member of the team, email invest@stockton.gov.uk or telephone 01642 528384.
The Business and IP Centre (BIPC) also have a variety of free resources available for businesses. They can support you with market research tools including GrantFinder, and provide face-to-face business support. Contact BIPC Tees Valley on bipc@stockton.gov.uk.

Cost of living
British Business Bank has guidance and steps your business can take to tackle the cost of living.
The Federation of Small Businesses (FSB) offers practical guides and tips on managing business finance and information on the cost of doing business crisis.
Energy
The SME Energy Efficiency Scheme (SMEES) supports small and medium-sized enterprises in the Tees Valley to reduce energy use, cut carbon emissions and save money, through access to a fully-funded energy efficiency audit and expert independent advice.

Energy
The government has outlined plans to help cut energy bills for businesses in the Energy Bill Relief Scheme.
Organisations employing over 250 may also qualify for the Energy Savings Opportunity Scheme (ESOS) which aims to identify cost-effective energy saving measures.
